This fabulously simple cowl takes advantage the texture of seed/moss stitch to full effect, creating a warm and eye-catching piece that any child will love!
Level Beginner.
Skills Knitting in the round, joining in the round using the jogless/invisible join method (instructions given), long-tail or other stretchy cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, binding/casting off.
You will need 1 pair each of 8mm (US 11) & 10mm (US 15) 40cm/16” circular needles, a stitch marker, yarn/wool needle, scissors. 100g chunky weight yarn (I used one hank of Paintbox Yarns Wool Mix Super Chunky in Daffodil Yellow).
Measurements 24.5cm wide (9.6”) / 17cm (6.6”) high.
Abbreviations K (knit), p (purl), bor (beginning of round), rd (round), co (cast on).
Gauge 9 stitches & 12 rounds to 10cm (4”).
