Salmon Run Wall Hanging
Create a conversation piece with this unique crochet pattern! The finished wall hanging will add nature-inspired vibes to your home, whether that be a remote cabin or a city apartment. It would also make an excellent handmade gift for a nature-loving friend or an avid angler!
Pattern Difficulty: Intermediate. This pattern uses basic stitches, but has a lot of color changes and involves some tricky yarn management. Just be aware that this would be a challenging project with which to learn tapestry crochet.
Finished size: 23 ½” x 11”
Tools required:
--I-9/5.5mm crochet hook
--Tapestry needle
--28” long 7/16th” diameter wood dowel or stick of similar size
--Stitch markers or stitch marker substitute (optional but recommended)
--Spools or scrap cardboard for wrapping bobbins (optional but recommended)
Yarn required (all worsted weight)
--Off white/cream: Approx. 12 yards
--Light green: Approx. 16 yards
--Midtone green: Approx. 18 yards
--Dark green: Approx. 18 yards
--Mustard Yellow: Approx. 4 yards
--Salmon Pink/Coral: Approx. 16 yards
--Red: Approx. 36 yards
--Background color: Approx. 155 yards
