DESCRIPTION
Knitting pattern for a minimalistic, geometrically textured, chunky blanket such as the one pictured in the listing photos. Its sheer size calls for quite a bit of knitting determination, but the chunky yarn required makes for quick progress. The patterning of the Salobre blanket consists of diagonal lines that run in opposite directions, creating an interesting, bohemian looking, diamond texture at the center. Once finished, it’s the perfect, luxurious accessory for your (or a friend’s!) modern home.

This pattern requires only basic techniques, so it is a very beginner friendly knit. However, it is also perfect for the more experienced knitter looking for a knitflix- or car ride-appropriate project – a project that does not need a lot of brainpower but that just gives you all the cozy feels. Work on this on cold (Winter) nights, so the work-in-progress can keep you warm and toasty. ;)

For the most part, this pattern is charted only. You could absolutely knit this blanket while only referring to the chart. However, to help you on your way, the pattern has the first seven rows written out completely, including some tips and tricks. After that, it gives instructions only for the rows that need a little bit of extra attention. Besides, the pattern includes many how-to photos, refers to YouTube tutorials for all the techniques needed, and provides advice on how to adjust sizing. Happy knitting!
