Salt Air
This sweater pattern is fun, easy!
The instructions are written with the intention of helping a novice sweater maker. There are clear, simple and concise directions with helpful photos. Instructions on how to block a stocking stitch sweater are included.
The body of the sweater is knit in the round from the bottom up to the underarm. The front and back are separated, then completed using straight needles. The collar is incorporated.
The shoulders are then seamed together. Stitches are picked up and knit around the arm opening for the sleeve.
The directions are written for a 7.5cm (3inch) stripe. Any width will work with this pattern as long as you stay consistent.
This sweater also looks great without a stripe!
The sweater is meant to be worn loosely. The modeled sweater in the photo has a twelve inch ease.
Finished sizes range from 38 inches to 66 inches.
ENJOY!
