Salt Life Poncho
Spend $25 or more in my Ravelry shop in one transaction and you will automatically receive 25% off your entire purchase!
An easy summer cover-up with an interesting construction. After knitting the open cowl neck, a triangular shawl is worked back and forth, incorporating one more stitch from the circular neck at the end of each row. The final portion is worked in rounds to form the poncho.
Skills required
You should be familiar with knitting in the round, increasing, decreasing, lace knitting (nothing too complicated!), and beading if you want to include beads.
For a summery cover-up, something like Elsebeth Lavold Hempathy (cotton/hemp/modal) is nice. For a warmer option, use something similar to Miss Babs’ Killington (silk/wool) or Yowza (superwash merino).
Originally part of the Salt Life MKAL.
