The Samhain shawl draws you in, keeps you engaged, without being too demanding. It has structure and simplicity, clean bones, and nestled among that very solid background, there is a stretch of lace, as if some is drawing it wider in the center. That veil, that bit of lace lets you peek to the other side, or from there to here.

Yarn: Eden Cottage Yarns Bowland DK (100% Bluefaced Leicester; 245 yds / 225 m – 100 g), colourway Midnight. 3 skeins. Or approx. 735 yds / 675 m of DK-weight yarn.
Needles: US 6 / 4 mm 80–100 cm circular needles.
Notions: Stitch markers.

Gauge:
21 sts x 22 rows = 4” / 10 cm in the stockinette with purl ridges pattern, after blocking.
