Sitka Cowl pattern includes colorwork bands featuring images of the Samoyed dog. Dogs are knitted using combined Finull and Silk Mohair Lux in the LBJ technique. The combination of yarns is intended to make the dogs pop, but the silk mohair is optional. Colorwork technique is Ladder back jacquard (LBJ). Outside reference is included.

Coconut Cowl pattern includes stranded colorwork featuring a 2-color motif representing the word “Samoyed”. Yarns may be single strands of 2 colors in sport weight, or double strands of sport weight plus cobweb.

Sizes available for Medium and Large.

Materials needed are 191 yards of Frangipani for MC, 191 yards each of Rauma Finull for CC1 and 191 yards of Lana Gatto Silk Mohair Lux in same/similar color as CC2 (6027 Ivory).

Note: Rauma Finull or Rowan Felted Tweed may be substituted for the Frangipani MC yarn.
