Summary Lace, cables, and texture. Each block is knit separately, then crocheted together (a diagram assists with layout of the squares). The border is knit in a long strip and then sewn onto the blanket.

Notes A cable needle will be needed for patterns incorporating cables, and a size D (3.25 mm) crochet hook is needed for the edging.

Additional Yarn Information 9 balls #4047 dark rose

From the pattern description Lace and texture are combined beautifully in this showpiece blanket. All squares are knit separately, then a simple crochet edge is worked around each square to make assembly easy. The lacy diamond border is worked in one long piece then sewn on for a delicate finish.
