Sampler stitch circular yoke pullover is a fun top-down in the round pullover. I designed this pullover to take advantage of the different color changes in this yarn. The main color is worked in knit, while each contrast color is worked in one of 16 different one-row, easy to knit stitch patterns.

Even though you are using a fine yarn and it seems like a lot of knitting, it knits up fairly quickly. Depending on the number of stitches you have, the patterns keep changing, creating a one-of-a-kind sweater. I couldn’t wait to get to the next color change to see what the stitch pattern would look like. The optional scarf uses up any leftover yarn.

Yarn: Red Heart It’s a Wrap, cotton/acrylic blend 5.26oz / 150 g; 623 yards / 570m. I used colorway Mosaic
Or any similar #2 fine weight cotton or cotton blend yarn that is suitable to wear on a cool summer day, or over a tank during the winter.
3,3,3,4,4 balls based on the sizes listed below. The scarf used up my leftovers, about half a ball.

Needles: US2 or 3 (3mm) circular needles, or size to obtain gauge. The optional scarf used size US8 (5mm)

Finished measurements: to fit bust 35, 38, 42, 45, 50 (89, 96, 107, 111, 127 cm).

Pattern skill level: fairly easy, maybe an advanced beginner, if you know how to do some lace stitches. The pullover starts at the collar, increases are done in the yoke, the sleeves stitches are held on stitch holders while the body is knitted, then the sleeves are knitted, and that’s it. There’s no sewing seams together except for a few stitches at the collar where I work back and forth for a few rows before joining to work in the round.
