This sampler scarf was designed for a Knitting II class. It is intended to build confidence in beginners, using ten stitches that combine knit and purl in a variety of ways. You will also practice changing colors.

You need two skeins of worsted weight yarn, one solid color and one variegated. For my first sample, I used two skeins of Symfonie Bella. The scarf is beautiful, but I used every inch of my yarn! I would probably splurge for another skein next time. My current project is using a combination of Berroco Sesame and Lanas.

Feel free to make sections longer or shorter based on what you like, or repeat sections as desired. I hope you enjoy knitting this scarf!
