This stashbuster project is perfect for those of us who knit a lot of socks. Think of the number of times you’ve ended up with a partial skein—just enough leftover yarn that you don’t want to get rid of it, but not enough for another project. Fortunately, such “orphan ends” are perfect for the Sampler Socks.

Worked in six colors, this pattern incorporates different textures and patterns into each jogless stripe. The instep and the sole are worked flat and separately, making repairs easier. The pattern is written out and not charted.
