The Sanctuary shawl is a cozy lacy semi-circular shawl.
The shawl makes use of crochet and Tunisian crochet, however the Tunisian sections can all be worked with a standard straight shaft crochet hook, no Tunisian hook is necessary.

Skill level: intermediate to experienced
If you are an experienced crocheter without Tunisian experience you should be able to make this shawl, since the Tunisian stitches are repetitive and the stitch patterns are repeated often.
The pattern also gives extensive directions on how to start with Tunisian crochet.

The shawl can be made in a small or large version.

Materials for the small version:
2 skeins of Merino Bamboo (400m (437yds)/100g) in complementary colours (MC 1 & 2) and 1 skein of Merino One (365m (399yds)/100g) in CC.

Materials for the large version:
2 skeins of Luxus (425m (465yds)/100g) in MC1, 1 skein of Luxus in a MC2 and 1 skein of Luxus in CC. Luxus is a 60% wool, 20% ramie, 20%mulberry silk blend.
