Sandoy Sweater
The Sandoy Sweater is worked from the bottom up in a pattern of cables and moss stitch following a chart. Front and back are worked back and forth separately and joined together at the shoulders. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are worked from the back and forth top down, after which the sleeve and side seams are sewn together with mattress stitch. The neckband is worked lastly.
