Sandoy Sweater is worked from the bottom up in a pattern of cables and moss stitch following the chart. Front and back are worked separately and joined together at the shoulders. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves, which are worked back and forth from the top down, after which the sleeve and side seams are sewn together with mattress stitch. Finaly the neckband is worked.
