This Cardigan is made in one big panel from the bottom up and splitting for the armholes. The shoulders are seamed before adding the hood, collar and sleeves.
The sleeves are worked in the round.
The hood is worked back and forth and then seamed together.
The bottom ribbing is the first five rows of the pattern.
The collar is worked up and down the body of the cardigan.
The pockets are optional and made last, then seamed together at the sides and bottom.
There is some positive ease to this cardigan. It is not meant to be oversized nor fitted. If you choose to have a tight fit, go down a hook size or down a size in the pattern and vice versa for an oversized fit. This cardigan is NOT meant to close shut, if you chose to do so, add 5 more rows to the final ribbing around the collar.
Chain 3 DOES count as a stitch and chain 1 does NOT count.
