SANDWAVES RIB sweater
The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down in a Contiguous construction, holding three strands of yarn together throughout (1 x My Time Merino and 2 x Mohsilko). The work begins by casting on stitches for the turtleneck, which is worked in the round. Next, the yoke is shaped using Wrap & Turn short rows while stitches are increased for the shoulders. Once the upper part of the sweater has been shaped, stitches are gradually increased for the sleeves while the body is worked at the same time. Towards the end of the sleeve shaping, stitches are increased for the body under the arms, after which the sleeve stitches are placed on spare cables. The body is then worked in the round, with stitches cast on for the underarms. Next, the front and back are divided and worked separately in rows, creating the side slits. The sleeves are worked in the round.
