A large seamless bohemian style beach bag.
Grab and go with everything you need in one carrier (in our XL version we put 2 x large bath towels, 2 litre water bottle with 2 cups, book, bucket and spade… and plenty of room for more).
A bag which is sturdy, has enormous capacity and works up fast and with minimal sewing (weaving in ends only!).

The bag sides are worked individually and done up with a flat braid join technique. For the XL version you will double strand Aran weight cotton and use a 7mm hook. Smaller bag versions can be made using different yarn weights and hook sizes of course :)

The inspiration for this tote came venturing out
to Lee Bay in North Devon, UK); Sandy Cove is an almost hidden beach going through a -I want to say- ‘secret’ path (visible in the pictures looking like a split rock, the tide was in on ‘picture day’ so you will just have to visit and see the cove for yourself).

So, ‘shell’ we go to the beach today xxx
