The Sanibel Sarong makes a lovely swimsuit cover up to wear by the pool or to the beach. The lacey stitch allows for cool comfort while providing interesting texture and design.

This pattern is written to customize the sizing of the sarong, so that any size can be made, from baby to adult! A hip measurement and a measurement of length desired is needed.

It works up very quickly!

The amount of cotton yarn needed will vary depending on the size made. As a reference, if you are making a size medium, for a 28” waist, approximately 6 oz of yarn is needed.

Cotton yarn is recommended so the garment is cool, as well as durable. Follow manufacturer’s washing and care instructions.
