A vest is a very useful garment in a little boy’s wardrobe. While there are so many accessories to enhance little girls’ outfits, there is only a limited assortment of accessories and garments to do the same for boys. Inspired by the cabled vests worn by my father, the Sanni vest will add style to the ordinary trousers-shirt combination.
Sanni is knitted in two easy pieces – the front has twisted-stitch cables on a reverse Stockinette background, while the back is knitted in plain Stockinette stitch. The vest is finished with twisted rib at the neck and armholes.

Cable patter is given in chart and line-by-line.
