These socks are for anyone who - like me - struggles narrowing down their colour choices. Three 50g skeins of sock yarn is enough to make two pairs of socks, by swapping the shades around. Playful stripes and simple stocking stitch make these a wonderfully addictive knit.

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Sock foot circumference: 15 (18, 20.5, 23) cm / 6 (7, 8, 9) inches
Leg Length: 18 (20.5, 21.5, 25) cm / 7 (8, 8.5, 9.75) inches (adjustable)
Foot length: 16.5 (20.5, 23, 26) cm / 6.5 (8, 9, 10.25) inches (adjustable)

Designed to be worn with 2.5 cm / 1 inch negative ease on both foot circumference and length, to ensure a good fit.

YARN REQUIREMENTS
John Arbon Textiles Exmoor Sock, 4-ply (60% Exmoor Blueface, 20% Corriedale, 10% Zwartbles, 10% Nylon; 200 metres per 50g)

MC: Whortleberries (navy); 1 skein
CC1: Mizzle (undyed); 1 skein
CC2: Quick Beam (orange); 1 skein

Note: Using three skeins of yarn, it is possible to make two pairs of socks (as long as one pair is knitted in one of the smaller sizes). Simply reverse MC and CC2 on the second pair.

GAUGE

3 stitch markers (including 1 unique marker)
Darning needle to sew in ends

PATTERN NOTES
This sock is knitted top down, with a textured slip-stitch heel flap for extra comfort. Stripes add a dash of interest when knitting the foot. Both the leg and foot lengths are adjustable, so I recommend periodically trying on these socks as you go, to ensure the best fit.
