It’s that time of year, where Christmas is everywhere! All the little kiddos are out visiting Santa or doing other Christmas activities. These Santa Baby Hats are perfect to look cute and keep warm.

The pattern is written for size 3-5 child but can use my basic hat crochet pattern with ear flaps to make in any size from newborn to adult. You will need less than one skein each of black, red, white, and a small amount of gold. It is worked in half double crochet stitches in a spiral from the top down. Once the hat and earflaps are complete, trim with white, add braids, a “belt buckle” and a pom pom on top. Then there you have it!
