This quick and very easy hat inspired by the man in the big red suit will bring smiles to all who see it.

This seamless hat can easily be completed in just a couple hours with a big impact. Hat is worked in the round from the bottom up. Buckle embroidered using duplicate stitch. One row of single crochet required for the fluffy white trim.

Yarns: Really any smooth super bulky yarn in the right colors will work, but these are the ones I use: Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick- Black, Lion Brand Hometown USA- Cincinnati Red & a very small amount of Pittsburgh Yellow, very small amount of Paton’s Melody-White.

Gauge: 2 stitches & 3 ½ Rows per Inch

Sizes: 0-6, 6-18 Months, Toddler/Child, Adult

Needles: 16” Circular needles in US Size 15, Size 15 DPN or a second set of Size 15 Circular Needles

Tapestry Needle

9mm Crochet Hook or any comfortable size for super bulky yarns

Stitch marker
