Santa is a very easy, quick knit, a couple of hours until you’re ready for the finishing. Knit in the round with no sewing, from bottom to the top.

He’s about 6 inches tall, with worsted yarn and US 4 dpns.

All you need is some red, white, and flesh colored yarn, dpns, stuffing, tapestry needle, and embroidery thread. You could probably make a dozen from a skein of red Paton’s worsted yarn.

The hair and beard are made by sewing through the head and face a bunch of white yarn, leaving big loops on the side, then giving him a hair cut for the grooming look you want. Unravel the ends to make it fuzzy, if you like. This would be a fun craft project to share with the little ones in you life.

Enjoy!
