An excellent showcase of your Tunisian crochet skills, this shawl features wedges of several basic and decorative Tunisian stitches.

Gauge is not important on this shawl. A “K” (6.5mm) hook with recommended Aran-weight yarn yielded 50” wingspan tip to tip and 24” length neck to waist.

Sizing can be adjusted by omitting or adding individual wedges or by decreasing or increasing beginning chain and foundation row.

This pattern assumes you are familiar with a “Single Crochet Foundation Cast On” and Tunisian Crochet concepts/stitch patterns. Tutorials for both can be found on YouTube.

Blocking is very important for this project to smooth and shape the wedges and to straighten edges.
