A really cosy and fun Santa Hat in one size for adults.
Made holding 2 strands of DK together.
You’ll need about 40g of DK in cream and 100g in red or the colour of your choice.

Update: I’ve received feedback that this hat comes up quite large. I have remedied this on the hats I’ve already made and given to friends as follows -
I turned the hat inside out and using white shirring elastic and a darning needle I threaded the elastic through one strand of each side of the “V” of the back of the purl stitches in row 11 of the ribbing section. I then ran the elastic down to row 9 and repeated that process and tied off the elastic. This has solved the problem and is invisible when worn though it does look slightly ruffled when not worn that doesn’t show once it’s put on.
The large pompom is also quite heavy so a smaller pompom can help with the hat not slipping!
