This luxurious, faux fur-edged Santa hat, with a long tail and fluffy pom, makes the perfect festive accessory. And the attachable beard adds extra fun to the holiday season!

You will need 2 balls of the Sirdar Alpine and 1 ball of the Lion Brand Wool Ease.

The hat is worked for the most part on 16” circular needles - 8mm for the brim and 4mm for the hat. You will also need a longer 4mm circular needle or 4mm dpns for the narrow end of the hat.

The beard is worked for the most part on 8mm circular needles using the magic loop method. It is finished on straight 8mm needles.

To wear the beard you can either make elastic ties to loop around your ears or you can sew a button onto each side of the inside of the brim and simply loop the beard over the buttons
(due to the nature of the fabric, no buttonholes are needed).
