Stockings can be so special for this time of year. Not only a place for Santa to stash small gifts and candy, they can also set the mood for your holiday decor, and earn even more sentimental value than their contents. My favorite stockings always had lots of room for gifts, lots of stretch for Santa to fit in those awkwardly shaped goodies, and were, of course, aesthetically pleasing. I love traditional Christmas decor and tried to bring that traditional feel into this pattern.
