The Saphira Beanie is a very beginner friendly pattern to help you enter into the world of cable knitting!

With side by side twisted cables in the front and a fun textured design in the back, it may look complicated, but rest assured, you’ll get the hang of it in no time.

There is a simple 4 row repeat making it a great project to work on while watching TV or on a long car ride. It can be worked up easily in less than 2 hours.

Using very little yarn, less than 90 yards of Super Bulky (Category 6), the finished beanie will fit the average adult head. It also knits up beautifully using Worsted Weight held double.

If you love the look of cables, but have been too intimidated to try them out, this is the perfect pattern to get you started. It’s sure to be a favorite!
