Lovely oval gems shining in the sun – I like blue so sapphires they become, but if you like red or green rubies or emeralds would work equally well. These socks use cable and lace techniques to achieve a beautiful, elegant pattern. Both chart and written instructions are included.

Knitter level: Intermediate to Advanced Intermediate – Knit in the round, pattern/lace work, decreases, heel turning. While they are immensely satisfying, it is probably best if these are not the first socks you knit. As one of my test knitters said “This is a great pattern, but you need to read EVERY WORD!” I would add, please look at the pictures and chart, and read ahead in each section to avoid mistakes!
