This beret was knit with one skein of Sari Silk yarn and approximately 4 to 5 ounces of hand-spun Churro fleece yarn. It was knit to gauge and is adjustable to vary the wearing style as preferred . A size 10 circular needle was used throughout the pattern, and the knitting was finished on size 10 double pointed needles. Pattern instructions are very detailed. Email and Skype support available. The beret is knit to gauge/knit to fit. Has an adjustable drawstring cord with two multicolor glass accent beads. The FO is machine felted in a mesh bag once completely knitted. Hand-spun Churro fleece yarn used was 18 wpi. The processing of the Churro fleece involved leaving in the short and long fibers during the spinning process. This resulted in a yarn that is very old world in character. Reminds me of the fiber types in the clothing worn in Lord of the Rings and other such movies that use old world spinning techniques to make their costuming more authentic. The Churro fleece yarn is textured and really compliments the Sari Silk Yarn.
