SARI SOCKS
These socks are connected to a befriended family in need, who have a child with a severe heart disease. I will donate all money I make from selling this pattern to the crowdfunding of this family, until their goal is reached! You can find their crowdfunding here..
The Sari Socks feature a lovely lace pattern, which looks like little hearts from the wearers perspective. The sides are covered with a vertical lace border. The pattern works with a chart for the lace.
The Sari Socks are knitted from the toe up. If you’ve never done this: don’t despair! It’s not as hard as it may look - actually, I find it way easier to knit this way. You can easily adapt the length to your needs (whilst knowing you still have enough yarn left to do so ). I’ve always struggled with the fit of top-down socks, but since I switched to toe-up, my socks fit like a glove! This was also one of the most heard feedback of my big group of test knitters, so please check out their pictures!
The Sari Socks use my own developed modular system. There are five foot circumference sizes, to fit feet with a circumference 17,5-27,5 cm / 6 7/8-10 7/8”. This ensures a perfect fit.
Each of these sizes is compatible with the following shoe sizes:
EU 32-47
UK 1-12
US 2-13
This system makes for socks that fits perfectly throughout all different kinds of feet and sizes!
You will first pick the correct circumference size, and the pattern describes clearly what to do next to reach your correct shoe size.
Please note: since PayPal is blocking the name of the pattern (for racism reasons, I suppose).. Your pattern will come to you named Sara Socks in the file. This was the only way to be able to publish the pattern. I’m so sorry for this… And I thank you million times for your support!
