Sasha Sweater
Sacha Sweater
Sizes (XS) S (M) L (XL)
The design has inspired me by reading the novel Orlando written by Virginia Woolf. Sasha Sweater is soft and warm.
Sasha Sweater has distinctive full sleeves, which is made up of multiple rows of gathered pattern. It is a short style with a relaxed cut, drooped shoulders and a bateau neckline.
The sweater is worked from the bottom up on circular needles. The front and back are then knitted individually. The sleeves are knitted on two different sizes of circular needles to achieve the wished gathered effect. The sleeves are sewn on at the end. The gathered pattern on the sleeves is worked with two strands of yarn, and the rest of the sweater is worked with three strands
Sasha is knitted in Tilia (silk mohair) and Indiecita (alpaca) by Filcolana, but different types of yarns can be used, as long as the gauge fits.
.
