Inspired by the anachronistic but super stylish cowls from the TV show Outlander, “Sassanach” is the simplest cowl out there. Just knitting. Not a purl in sight. You can finish one of these in an evening or two and be warm all winter.

The cowl in the picture was made from three balls of Highlander Grande in colourway 4405.
