Sassy Ruffles Scarf
The Sassy Ruffles Scarf is a playful, eye-catching accessory designed to add instant personality to your wardrobe. Built from tiny ruffle motifs that are worked continuously, this scarf looks like a motif project—but without any of the fuss.
Using my signature Breakaway Crochet techniques, you’ll join every ruffle as you go, with no sewing, no attaching pieces, and no yarn tails to weave in.
Each ruffle is shaped using a clever special stitch and worked in a precise sequence that keeps the fabric flowing in soft, rhythmic waves. The result is a lightweight statement piece that feels both fun and fashion-forward.
Whether you’re looking to try something new, build your skills, or use up a special skein of sock yarn, the Sassy Ruffles Scarf is an engaging make from start to finish. If you love projects that are a little bit cheeky and full of movement, this one will be right at home on your hook.
This project uses sock yarn with an over-sized hook to allow for an lovely drape. You will only need 1 x 100 gram hank to complete the scarf as shown (approximately 5.5” x 45”).
