This beautiful baby blanket is easy and relaxing to knit. Only knit and purl stitches are used, making it perfect for beginning knitters and seasoned knitters alike.

Pick as many solid colors for the stripes as you wish (or a long-repeat multi-color or stripe yarn), along with a solid contrasting color for the background. You’ll love seeing this vibrant blanket come to life!

This baby blanket uses a total of 780 yds (713 m) of worsted weight yarn. If another size of blanket is made, more or less yarn will be required. If a heavier yarn is used, adjust amount of yarn accordingly.
