Knit in the round. Suits variegated yarns well.
Cowl is shaped at the front and straight across the back.

There are two options given in the pattern -> regular length and a longer length for a fuller cowl.
Both options pictured separately here in the brown/orange/yellow yarn.

Materials: 3.5 mm circular needle, one stitch marker, Sock yarn / 4ply. Larger needle for cast off.

No special techniques other than recommending long tail cast on and knitting in the round. (Thumb (backwards loop) cast on is also suitable)
Skill level: I’m saying advanced beginner until someone messages me otherwise.

You can vary the look of your cowls by experimenting with varying tensions for blocking.
