A super-quick-to-make beanie style hat

If you find yourself needing to make a hat in super quick time this is the pattern for you - it works up in a few hours! The main part of the hat is crocheted in extended double crochet stitches which provide a unique look and the ribbing is worked in rows of back loop only (BLO) stitches to add stretch and texture.

Toddler, child and woman sizes require 1x 100g ball of aran weight yarn. Man size will require 2x 100g balls (or 3x 50g balls).

I have included a diameter measurement at the end of round 5 to help you with tension.
