The Saturday Distressed Sweater will become your favorite go-to sweater.

This drop shoulder, oversized cotton blend sweater is knit to resemble a well-worn and loved piece that is not only comfortable, but perfect for lounging or going out with friends. This classic sweater features refined 1x1 ribbing and stockinette stitch contrasted by three distinct distress techniques worked on the cuffs and body of the sweater.

The sweater is knit bottom up in the round to the sleeve holes, then the front and back are knit flat in turned rows. Sleeves are knit separately and sewn onto the body, and then stitches are picked up for the neck ribbing. Directions to create this sweater with no distress markings are included at the end of the pattern.

Patten provides details on distress techniques, distress placement, and a version of the sweater without distress markings. Pattern includes sizing from XS-5X.
