Everything about Saturdays should be easy, relaxed + cozy. With that in mind, these Saturday socks feature my favourite easy textured twisted rib. It always hugs your feet just right for a great fit. They are knit in DK weight yarn, which not only makes them super cozy, but they are the speediest socks ever to work up! A great choice for a special gift, or a go to pattern to fill your own sock drawer. Happy knitting, friends.♡xo

PATTERN NOTES:

  • If you are knitting for larger feet and want to stay within one skein of yarn, you may want to consider knitting the shorty leg option to ensure that you have enough. Using a small amount of a contrast colour for the cuff, heel and toe will also help you make one skein of main colour go farther.

  • Size 2, standard leg, & ladies shoe size 8 used 95g

  • Two leg lengths are included, shorty and standard

  • The gusset decreases (ssk, k2tog) are on opposite sides than you may be used to. This was to eliminate some loose side stitches and ladders that appeared.

  • DK socks knit up so quickly! They make a great gift and are so cozy to wear.

  • The texture is an offset rib, not complicated at all.

  • the heel flap is done in reverse stockinette which highlights purl texture of the ribbing design.

  • pattern is written and includes video links to Magic Loop, Longtail cast on and Kitchener stitch.

  • pattern has been professionally tech edited (thanks Kate!) and test knit by talented and generous knitters. Thank you all!
