This pattern is available from shop.beacons.ai for $8.00.

This backpack features a back entrance and a removable cap for a coin purse in the bottle neck!
Choose your yarn colors to make your favorite sauce. Will it be Ranch, Hot sauce, Mayo, a magic potion??

This pattern has lots of photos, descriptions, and suggestions along with my email for any questions.

This backpack is beginner-intermediate level with most of the pattern using single crochet and only one row requiring half double crochet, double crochet and treble crochet stitches.

The pattern calls for either worsted weight yarn tripled up (this is what I did, using Red Heart Acrylic) OR chunky/bulky yarn for the body and size 4 yarn for the cap and straps (I used Peaches & Cream cotton).

The label of your bottle is completely DIY but I include tips, ideas, and examples from pattern testers!

Size notes
Size of your bag is dependent on yarn choice, hook size, and tension. My backpack is 14.5in tall and 10in wide for a medium purse size.

To get approximately, this size:

For the bottle, I tripled up Acrylic Red Heart Super Saver yarn to make a bulky yarn and used an H/5.0mm hook. You could instead use a single strand of bulky yarn.

For the blue bottle rim, I used two strands of Peaches and Cream cotton and a 4.5mm hook.

For the cap and backpack straps, I used one strand of Peaches and Cream cotton and an F/3.75mm hook.
