This lovely top is designed to keep you comfortable in hot weather. It’s a simple, classic design, with an easy-to-work lace trim around the sleeves and the hem. The waist and hip shaping ensure that the top flatter your figure; the hips are slightly larger in circumference than the bust, so it won’t cling. As wth all Basix patterns, tips and measurements are given for those who want to tweak some of the shaping elements.

This pullover is worked from the top down, beginning at the back shoulders. The back is worked to the armholes, then placed on hold while the front is picked up from the back shoulders and worked to the armholes. Then the back and front are joined and the body is worked to the bottom edge. The sleeves are picked up from the armholes and worked to the cuffs, with short-row shaping to shape the sleeve caps.

The lace trim pattern is presented in written format only.
