The lace cuff is knitted first, then stitches for the garter stitch hand are picked up from the straight edge.

The mittens are very stretchy and the hand and thumb lengths can be easily adjusted.

The circumference of the three sizes is 5 (7.5, 9)“ and they will stretch a further inch or two.

The pattern will work with any aran yarn, but you must check your tension first.
