A summer top in thin cotton inspired by the summerhouse of my childhood . If you are Danish or have visited Denmark you probably have seen some of these older wood houses resembling log cabins, stained black with lots of tiny white window frames.
It is knitted in stockinette stitches with a wide V-neck with stripes in beige, rust, brown and ochre worked in a mix of purl and knit. Another version is knitted by Jytte in the same colors but the main color of the top is brown.
The pattern is 2 pages with two color photographs; one full size, and one close-up of the v-neck.

We used LUXOR EXTRA FINO/bmz 100% Egyptian mercerized cotton from BC Garn in Denmark. Another choice could be Alba from the same company, they are on ravelry as www.garn.dk.
