Note: This piece is made flat and then the cast on edge and bottom edge are stitched together. For a longer cowl length, repeat directions more times. Also, for a seamless cowl, use a provisional cast-on (can be seen here, in a video) and stitch the cast-on edge to the bottom edge using kitchener stitch.
