ENGLISH

Saxon Dungarees are worked from the bottom up. The legs are first knit separately with a ribbed edge on circular or double-pointed needles. They are then joined and a crotch is formed, after which short rows are worked on the back to make space for the baby’s backside. The Saxon Braid cabled pattern is worked on the bodice (front only), firstly in the round and later back and forth when the front and back are separated to make the armholes and shoulder straps. The dungarees are closed at the front with buttons.

DANSK
