“Scala” means stairs in Italian; a simple pattern of knit and purl stitches create a spiral staircase from the brim to the crown of the hat. Knit in worsted weight yarn, Scala is a quick knit with a simple yet interesting pattern for both beginner and experienced knitters alike! Scala is also a companion to the S Sock by Knitley Road- you can be coordinated from head to toe in wooly goodness! Scala can be knit on a circular needle, double pointed needles (DPNs), or magic loop. Instructions are included for a finishing method allowing for a removeable pompom.
