Scaleno è uno scialle triangolare asimmetrico. È stato pensato per coprire quel fastidioso triangolo di decolleté che tanti cappotti e soprabiti lasciano scoperto una volta allacciati e poi avvolgersi intorno al
collo come una sciarpa, senza creare fastidiosi ingombri sotto le spalle. Può anche essere indossato col triangolo sulla schiena, per scaldare la cervicale e la freddolosa zona tra le scapole. Può, infine, essere
attorcigliato ed usato come una corposa sciarpa con volant.
Il modello presenta due opzioni per il bordo in pizzo, una più vistosa e da diva, l’altra più discreta.
Sono anche fornite le istruzioni per lavorare il pizzo a sé, per creare una leggera sciarpa che può essere arricciata ulteriormente dal nastro che passerà nel mezzo.
Insomma, tre modelli in un uno.

Lo scialle è realizzato con tecnica mista: maglia e uncinetto, per realizzare la sciarpa occorre solo l’uncinetto.

Scaleno is a triangular, asymmetric shawlette. I designed it to cover up that portion of your decolleté that coats leave open to the winter cold. You can wear the widest portion of the triangle on the front and wrap the rest around your neck, with no unseamly bulge under your coat shoulders. You can also wear Scaleno with its widest part on your back, to cover your upper back and neck. Or you can simply twist it and wear it as a bulky ruffled scarf.
The crocheted i-cord simply helps Scaleno to stay put if you live, like I used to do, in a windy city.

The pattern includes two slightly different crochet lace options, a bigger and a discreet one.
