• Skill level: Beginner — basic crochet knowledge is recommended.
• Language: English, using US crochet terms.
• Hook: 4 mm.
• Yarn: Melissa Lana Cotton, 50% cotton / 50% acrylic, 130 metres per 50 g ball.
• Yarn used for the sample: approximately 40 g — 104 metres / 114 yards.
• Size: One size. The folded pouch body measures approximately 17 cm wide × 11.5 cm high (6.7 × 4.5 inches), before adding the top edging.

You will also need a yarn needle, scissors, stitch markers and a magnetic snap closure.

The pouch body is worked flat, folded and joined at the sides. The top edging is worked around the opening. The round flap is crocheted separately, finished with scallops and attached to the back of the pouch. Instructions for placing the magnetic closure are included.
