This very unique wrap is made using sport weight yarn and size #6 needles. Both of the stitches make their own type of scallop and the two laces work together beautifully, creating a four sided scalloped lace wrap that is rarely seen. However, it is not difficult to make. The one pictured here is finished with an optional simple single crochet edging. (The instructions for the edging, which also helps maintain the scalloped shape, is contained within the pattern.)

Skill Level: Intermediate (assuming a basic knowledge of knitting, yarn overs, increasing and decreasing.)

Skill Level for the edging: Beginner (assuming a decent knowledge of a single crochet (SC) stitch.

The scarf pictured here was expertly pattern tested by Dawn Smith who can be contacted at dzs04@msn.com (and is known on Ravelry as Sunnyhats). The wrap pictured here was made using Lorna’s Laces Shepherd Sport Weight yarn, (undyed).
