The Embroidered Scandi Stocking pattern is inspired by traditional Scandinavian knitting patterns, with cross stitch embroidery for the name.

The stocking is knitted in the round using circular needles. It is knitted from the top down in stranded colourwork pattern. Included are downloadable instructions and photos to help work the heel, toe and embroidery. Shaping for the heel is worked using the German Short Row Method. The toe is worked by decreasing in the round on double pointed needles or using the Magic Loop Technique.

The Scandi Stocking can be knitted in DK or Aran weight yarn:
